I am the Proud Owner of a Blog
I have been surprised at how much I enjoyed setting up a blog and have been stupidly pleased that a couple of people have commented on my posts. I suppose it is a bit like keeping an online diary. I am a bit worried about the privacy thing though. Can anyone with a google account read your blog? I suppose you wouldn't use it to pour out your most intimate thoughts and feelings!! I can see how it could be really useful to libraries as a way of keeping readers updated with the lastest news though. Hopefully I will keep up my blog after I have finished 23 things. I think all this web 2.0 stuff could become quite addictive!

igoogle
I do love my new igoogle page!! It is so convenient to have everything all in one place. I have added a few gadgets but it still looks a bit boring at the moment. Think I should add some more games and things. The BBC Good Food gadget is really handy though, when I am trying to get some inspiration on what to have for dinner!

Thoughts on 23 Things
I have decided to take part in '23 Things' as I don't know an awful lot about web 2.0 and I want to discover the exciting ways it will allow me to communicate and learn. I do use facebook already and think it is a fantastic, easy way of keeping in touch with my friends. My dad is even now using things like flickr though, and I really don't want to get left behind!! It will also be interesting to think about how web 2.0 can be used in a professional capacity to communicate with our readers.
